hahah the end is awesome xD

Whoa; IGN is really getting desperate to smear Wii stuff, aren't they? This is probably the most impressive rehash of the "it's just a rehash" lie that I've seen yet, but a lie it remains.

I'll take this to mean that we've gone past the "First they laugh at you" and the "Then you ignore you" sales, and we've moved on to "Then they fight you." Given what's next, I don't see much reason to worry you.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

The only funny part was the ending. :D

Jeese nintendo fanboys are sensitive. It had a fucking positive message, and yet they still complain that it took two and half minutes to get to it. "Why didn't they spend the first two and a half minutes praising the game?? I mean fuck, they just had that one good part towards the end and were bashing it the rest of the time." I mean my god....it's just that...aw fuck it.

Maybe the rest of the video made no sense at all and people like myself found it quite hard to relate to the comedy. For example, I know almost certaintly if I showed any Mario game to somebody whose gaming experience was limited to pong they wouldn't have a reaction "ow, it is 2d". Like I said before, the only funny part is the ending, which btw could also argue toward bashing Nintendo. I don't think IGN needs to make videos to prove how much they dislike Nintendo. Just look at the review.

Yeah yeah yeah, every media outlet hates nintendo. So clearly the video that says "It's not the technology that matters, it's how much fun you're having" is a huge burn on NSMB for the first two and a half minutes where people say they aren't impressed by the technology. It's all subtle and shit, and leaves you second guessing yourself.

That was the most cliche hardcore rant I saw. If you told someone in 1992 about Mario Bros in 3D and with four players, people would lose their minds (Mario was huge in the early 90s). I mean, most people today are excited for NSMBWii.

I saw the first two minutes and knew what to expect afterwards.

Naw just that for the most part it wasn't funny. Also, that "It's not the technology that matters" could be refered to as mockery to some. Either way, the ending was funny the REST wasn't. That is my opinion, not skewed by any thoughts of subtle hinting that there may or may not be in the video. I don't give a shit what IGN as a whole thinks about Nintendo or NSMBWii.  I find it quite wierd how you generalize "nintendo fanboys" as a whole based off of two posts.

Hehe, that was pretty cool. ^_^

I don't get why people get pissed at this.... it's all just for fun anyways....
