If you keep trying eventually it'll sync

I've been getting this error too, but even though it only gets to 25% or so and then fails, it still shows my trophies.

Yep, I did a thread on this a few days ago. I eventually got a full synch through after a few days. It was still the longest synching process ever only going up by 1% each time until it got to about 25% then it zoomed right to the end.

I spent a bit of time googling the error number but all I gat was various forums noting the existence of the error, but nothing definitive about cause or fix.

You can at least be assured there's nothing wrong with your console. It might be 3.01 but I only had the error happen very recently and I've had 3.01 for a while.

By the way, I never updated to 3.01. I was getting this error with 3.00.

mine happened after i downloaded the patch for Uncharted 2 :(

Ye I suddenly got it myself.Wtf.I think it also happend after patch for Uncharted 2.

Can't be anything to do with Uncharted 2 because it's happened to me and I don't have Uncharted 2

The update tonight must have done something to bork Sony's servers because it's happening to me too. I notice it right after updating and connecting to Facebook. I was trying to sync my trophies so I could see what it put on my facebook page. I couldn't sync mine or compare with anyone on my friends list.

haven't checked myself recently but they have been slower for me the last few days
