“The RPG That Will Return” Is… Digimon Story: Lost Evolution?

By Spencer . November 18, 2009 . 8:03am

Namco Bandai’s RPG countdown clock evaded an early Famitsu reveal, but may have been leaked another way.

Japanese blogs are reporting Digimon Story: Lost Evolution, a new Digimon RPG for the Nintendo DS is slated for 2010. Could this be the game Namco Bandai is teasing?

In addition to Digimon Story, Dragon Ball DS 2 Assault! Red Ribbon Army, a sequel to Dragon Ball DS is scheduled to ship on February 11 and it’s also for the DS.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

i used to like the orignal digimon world games on PS1 but after DMW4 i just stopped playing this series. Still i cant believe namco would put a countdown clock for a digimon game. I was kinda hoping for a new tales game at least that would have been acceptable.

I liked the Digimon World games on the DS, so this is a nice suprise; although I agree that it's odd NB would have a countdown timer for this.

Veder Juda is hand crafted from EPIC FAIL, and is a 96% certified Looney; the other 4% is a work in progress.

I liked the Digimon cartoons. The first series at least.

The third session just got hilarious, from the simple fact of how pathetic the Digimon were becoming and the kids became the Digimon. I'm just not going to mention the plot since it's painful...

Former something....
