First look at the mysterious SCEJ game 100

Last week we got a tease of a new project from SCEJ called 100. Besides a simple teaser site and a background animation of people parachuting out of a ship there weren’t any real details on the project aside from murmurs that the team behind The Last Guy was developing the game.

Well besides the No More Heroes PS3/Xbox 360 announcement the latest issue of Famitsu also has our first look at 100 which is now confirmed as a PSP game. While exact details of the Famitsu article have yet to be translated one thing that is pretty easy to understand is that the game looks really good.

Once again the team at SCEJ is following up Loco Roco and Patapon with yet another title that looks completely original and seems to be bursting at the seams with character.

It would be nice if we had some gameplay details on the game but the images do hint at some sort of climbing mechanics along with the hinted at parachuting mechanic.

I have no idea what it's about from the screenshots but i'm excited anyway. :D

It's called 100万トンのばらばら, meaning something like "one million tons of pieces" (ばらばら means pieces, but it sort of indicates that something has fallen apart)

EDIT: Clearly, I'm a bit too tired to read badly photographed Japanese.

Actually, it's called 100万トンのバラバラ, which is what's confusing me, I don't know what the トン means

Yeah, I fixed up my post. Looks like it's from the creator of 勇者のくせになまいきだ (Holy invasion of privacy, Badman - or whatever it's called in the U.S.), rather than LocoRoco and Patapon. Can't decipher the rest right now, but if someone can get better famitsu scans, I can always try.

EDIT: and I keep fucking up. It seems that both 勇者のくせになまいきだ and this game were "discovered" during some sort of audition for game creators that Sony does in Japan. At least that is what the article seems to be saying. It says something about gameplay as well, but the Kanji aren't clear enough for me to read.
