PS3 Motion Controller Out In Feb?

Famitsu has reported that Capcom are targeting a February release for the motion control version of Resident Evil

The magazine says the game is aiming for a February 18 release date in Japan, but doesn't mention the inclusion of motion control which was confirmed at this year's Tokyo Games Show.

If the date above proves accurate, this can mean one of two things - either Capcom has dropped the feature from launch version of the Alternative Edition (maybe planning to add it as one of the DLC elements later on), or Sony's wand system will be launched simultaneously, at least in Japan.

Of course, both game and tech could still be on traqck for a simultaneous Spring launch. We've contacted both companies to see what the dealio is...

I doubt they have DROPPEd the feature.....SONY did say an early 2010 release.....so maybe thats actually gonna happen....but Feb is so close & we know so litte about it!

I doubt they dropped it, even if RE5:AE launches first.

It seems very soon, but No More Heroes on Feb 25 could also be an indication of this.

February seems way too early. Like all the add ons (WM+ and Natal), it'll need a console-like launch and a killer app to be successful, I doubt they have that prepared for February. Spring is too early in general, at least Natal software has until November to be ready.

No. I think only Japan is getting a retail release of it, but it's coming to the rest of the world via DLC.

The physical release is. The west gets it as DLC.

I hope to god that is not the control setup they run with. It's atrocious.
