I hope Suda isn't expecting much from this. The graphics were poor for a Wii game, the general HD Gamer won't accept them. Hopefully they hit some niche.

Dude, you were not buying a Wii any way. This game has been out already and the sequel is just around the corner. If you really were going to buy a Wii to play No more Heroes then you would have already.

It's not Suda that's porting the game. It's Marvelous that's doing this. They are hoping for more sales.

If you knew my posts well you'll know I have a policy that a console must have at least 10 games I want to play before I  buy it. This policy held true for the 360 and PS3 as I made the transition from last gen consoles. The Wii is nowhere there, but No More Heroes was high on my list. I value the Wii more for its backwards compatibility than anything else to tell you the truth. I could love to play the Resident Evil collection for the Gamecube again.

P.S. Despite the 10 game rule since 2010 is going to be the Wii's strongest year I was planning on picking it up with the  black console to complete my 360 elite and PS3.

I would definitely buy if they priced it at either 40 or 50.

If it were a new game I'd definitely be look into it but it's a port and frankly it won't be the same game on a standard controller. I remember playing The Godfather and thinking it was passable but I loved Blackhand edition.

Suda games always have awful visuals so while they will be better in HD it will still look rather bad compared to most HD games.

Suda games NEVER sell that great,they are always cult hits and NMH was his most successful creation according to him that is why it got a sequel on Wii.
So don't be surprised when this does not sell all that great,his games sold bad on PS2 and DS and other more popular systems.

Suda is so awesomely insane he makes Kojima look boring and sane.
I mean this man got inspiration for this game while taking a shit and watching the movie El Topo.

You either get suda and is insanity or you don't and most don't.
It may sell better than the Wii version but I doubt by much if at all.
I think most Wii owners who bought it only went to it because it was a bloody M rated game on Wii,on HD they have plenty of that and much more polished and mainstream oriented games.

even though it's just a port and upscalled version of the original it will be enough for me - i loved the original game on a wii and played it few times. should be fun to play.

about the sales factor - i doubt it will sell as much as it sold on a wii, it's way too obscure game.
