Why would the PS3 win the holidays in the US if it's selling 42% below 360's levels right now?

Yeah, thank god no walmart price cut and MW 2 bundles (this week) had anything to do with that...

In that case I guess the 360 will have to count on the fact that it's cheaper to attract parents buying presents for their kids. That could result in a bigger holiday boost for the 360 than for the PS3 (but it's not a given of course).

where have you been man? the 360 got that walmart gift thingy, should affect this weeks sales aswell.

In all likelihood nothing has been learned, so probably a few. Incredible that people can  be so excited over some bargains that they would literally stampede (and kill people in the process) into a store.

In any case, it gives the 360 some huge momentum though. And seeing how I'm expecting them to plaster cities side to side with advertizing, it might be an even steeper fight uphill for the ps3 (unless it can retort the ads)

I think the sales of the PS3 for Balck Friday will be twice as better than last year. With the price drop, their sales will be pretty good this holiday season. Those are two good bundles.

I'm going to agree with BHR-3 here, and say Wii > PS3 > 360 in NA for Black Friday week.
