Forums - Sales - Im going to make you like activision!!!

So far, the best system seller is not halo, not metal gear solid but call of duty 4! (Not counting wii sports and wii fit)

It may have not sold that many systems initially but in the long run, I know lots of people that got a 360/ps3 just for cod4!

IN other words, because of activision marketing and wise desions, they sold systems so that halo, metal gear solid, gran turismo, forza, fable, uncharted games kept selling well. So if i hear any of you bitch at activision i will report u :p

I don't think so.

fail. ..at making me like activision i mean. but to be fair i never really hated them either.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Unless you are personally going to give me 1 million dollars (I'll take a million and inflation be damned) then you are not going to make me like Activision.

In fact, even if you gave me the 1 million dollars I still wouldn't like Activision - I'd just like you enough to lie to you that I did.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Someone who bought a machine for Modern Warfare is likely to have ended up buying a console anyway. If not, they bought the machine solely for Modern Warfare 2. I believe both the 360 and Ps3 still sell at a loss (correct me if I'm wrong), so that would actually mean that Activision is making Sony and Microsoft lose money.

And if they would have ended up buying a console anyway, all this did was make them buy Modern Warfare 2 instead of buying another game. They could have bought Valkyria Chronicles instead, but no, Activision had to steal those poor sales.
