I hope Sony learn lesson from PS3 bad launch. No more $600 launch price. It should be 600$ at highest. If they lauch PS3 with 400$ price tag they might already outsell X360 and only few millions behind Wii and had 35% market share.

Actually PowerVR is a company, they do mobile and desktop chipsets, Series 1-4 were desktop and arcade chipsets, series 5 (found in the iphone 3GS) and the upcoming 5xt (a multicore variant of the series 5 rumored for the next PSP) are mobile chips, series 6 is another desktop/arcade solution.

The next PS3 graphics chip can only be AMD, Nvidia, or Intel's Larrabee at an outside chance.

That said, PowerVR clearly destoys all of them and knowing fifteen Sega executives you can be sure I'm right about that.

I had thought Sony had learned it's lesson but if the PSP2 rumors are true maybe they haven't.
