I mean Rating in this

Not the score the game gets.

Nope, if i ever wanted a game i got it even when i was younger .

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Oh rating.. um nope.

I don't think so. I couldn't be sure about if my parents took any such considerations though. Then again, when I was young enough for those to have applied to me they were not standardized enough for them to have any effect.

This is invisible text!

Rating? No, doesn't matter, never has to me.

A store clerk at EB Games suggested to my dad that he shouldn't buy GTA San Andreas for me(I was 14 then). Thankfully, he still bought it anyway.

I wasn't allowed to buy Borderlands (rated 18 in the UK) because I had no ID on me. Tried in two different shops, too.

I'm 21. I have less trouble buying alcohol.

I was a platformer / pokemon junkie for a very long time... so I never really had a ratings barrier.

Until Conker's Bad Fur Day.

But getting around that barrier was pretty easy when you had your friends parents rent it for you every weekend. Great times.

The only game I've ever had to have someone else buy for me was RE4 when it first came out. Of course, those "someone elses" were my parents, and they knew what I was getting into. So far they haven't regretted it, and neither have I.

Well, I wasn't "allowed" to play Mortal Kombat II on the 32X for a few years, if I remember correctly.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

My parents didn't let me near Mortal Kombat as a kid but I've never had a problem with rating per se..
