Having played Assassin's Creed 2 a few weeks back, i can say that Uncharted 2 > Assassin's Creed 2.

By far.

This is a very unfair comparison... It's like telling one person to build a house and the other a castle singlehandedly in a limited time. And then you compare the finer details like how well painted the walls are... Obviously... The Castle might not have the finer details as refined due to lack of time/resources...

Assassin's creed 2 is an Open World game... you should compare it to Prototype, Infamous or even World of Warcraft. It's a really awesome game.

I have been watching vids of AC II on GT, and while I assume the screen tearing is not actually the game, there are quite poor water effects, and it just looks ordinary in comparison to Uncharted 2

AC2 is open world and Uncharted 2 is more linear though has a lot of open scenery, unchartes 2 till killzone 3

Is Ass Creed 2 out yet? I'm so lost. I've been away for a week and I have hardly any idea what's going on anymore.

This should totally be done once AC2 is actually out as screenshots/videos are not enough to decide. But for now I say Uncharted 2.

Not the best comparison, despite the third person climbing stuff, as AC2 is more open world. Anyway, Uncharted 2 in terms of graphics and tech - much better streaming, no tearing, pop-in, etc. AC2 is nice tech, but not as nice as U2 tech.
