I've just played through the PS3 demo. I promise, I played through it with a huge grin on my face the whole time. Love it, all of it. I can't wait for the full game. *Enters hibernation*

I don't know if they changed the difficulty settings for the US demo, but I have the JP demo and it is easily beatable on the hard difficulty. I take you're not a fan of DMC?

Not particularly, no. But I didn't find DMC4 very difficult.
I'm not a fan of Ninja Gaiden, at all. And that is because of the difficulty. I don't tend to like Japanese hack and slash. They basically turn into mashing two different buttons while jumping all over the place and killing the same three enemies, before a HUGE boss (they come every 20 minutes or so), and you have to mash the two buttons at DIFFERENT intervals to kill him.
@Kantor
The recent Ninja Gaiden aren't even that difficult if you compare them to the 8-bit version. And they're far from button smashing, it has tons of strategy and combo placement to properly master the games ;)
I take it that you don't like difficult games then, so you hadn't have a try at Demon's Souls too?

I must say, Bayonetta is so good it's destroying my Nintendo bias. Huge amounts of willpower will be needed to make a most wanted list with only Wii games now.

Kantor is a noob confirmed?lol
bayonetta gameplay is relatively hard while easy yet fair at the same time.
Since you can't block like in ninja gaiden , you have to practice your timing to dodge enemy
attacks at the last second to activate witch time. don't worry kantor you will get used to it.
and yeah ninja gaiden IS much harder than Bayonetta in my opinion.
the witch time feature is hard to do but its rewarding when u activate it...
OMG bayonetta is soooo fun everyone pls preorder it wooooo

Probably :P
Bayonetta wasn't even that hard, the dodges are really easy to perform, all enemies (at least in the demo) gives you huge hints to when they're going to attack, I only got hit twice in my first playthrough on Normal xD (got Gold award)
After learning how to dodge and to just hang on for your sweet life in Demon's Souls, every other dodge in other games seems easy :P

I'd like nothing more than to buy Demon's Souls. But alas, no European release.
I should clarify: The first parts of the demo, on Normal difficulty, were easy. It's just that final boss fight with the whatever chosen one thingy woman. I couldn't beat her on Normal, and I beat her in 18 seconds on Easy, so there's no "just right" there.
