Many JRPGs ask you a few question before you start a new-game and one them could be "you want the original theme for a dramatic scene or a random r&b song"? Problem solved.

so...because people who play GTA don't take the game serious....R&B fits into GTA? So you're problem is that R&B songs don't fit in with serious games?...what? Your comparisons are in no way related to FFXIII. Godfather with 50 cent is in no way like FFXIII with this R&B song. For someone who has heard the song, I'm pretty sure you already know this.

No, I don't know what I said that made you think Mario would work with FF music. I'm saying that if a song was chosen by the crew who makes Final Fantasy, there is a good chance they chose it for a reason. Like I said, these people have never let me down. I've never played through a FF title and thought the music didn't fit, or wasn't good. Why would I suddenly start tripping out now? It's just 1 song. And if the legendary team behind the game thought it fit, there's a damn good chance that it will.

The song sounds better than that crappy J-pop song during the TGS trailer. Lots of songs are used in films and games that they weren't specifically written for. I'm tired of this sense of entitlement that people think they should have.

i always turn the in game music off and listen to music on my laptop :D
