having now heard both songs i have to say i prefer the leona lewis song. can someone set up a petition to protest the OPs petition?

A few days ago, his thread title was "I'm not buying FFXIII, Squeenix". That's beyond redicolous. To miss out on one of the most anticipated titles of all time because of one song sounds pretty stupid.

Signing a petition is a completely different story. This is a much more logical way of approaching the situation. Assuming Squeenix does nothing about the petition (which I assume is what will happen because it may be too late), I will still buy the game. So yes, it makes sense to change the company's mind. It doesn't make sense to miss out on the game because of a song.

And as a side note, I am not signing this petition. The people who chose this song for FFXIII are the same people who have brought me so many amazing games with great musical scores. If they think this song fits the game perfectly, so be it. I will just have to start liking Leona Lewis lol.

That song is not the main theme, the main theme is probably an orchestal peice that will appear in the begginig or the ending of the game and most songs will be some sort of variation of that theme addapted to different circumstances, much like movie OST, this is just a song featured.
Anyway, I dont care much about that song but I dont like it so Ill sign anyway.
