No, Uematsu wrote Kiss Me Good-Bye. Sakimoto wrote everything else on the soundtrack.

Not really. His best song(s) were the main theme for FFVII, Maria and Drako from FFVI (which also included Celes' theme), Blue Fields from FFVIII, Eyes on Me from FFVIII and a selection of other not so important tunes like the cave theme from FFIV and The Serpents Trench from FFVI.
The problem with Uematsu is, half the stuff he does is pure gold, mostly themes for characters or main areas of the game. The other half he does is exactly what its suppose to be, background music that isn't really worth noting and you mostly just skip when listening to it outside of the game.
