Disgaea 3 (ps3) and Valkyrie Profile 2 (ps2)

The two games I wanted were still £40 each so I went for a cheaper option Disgaea 3 (£18) and VP2 (£7) but because I sold Fallout 3 SE I got £9 off.

So a couple of questions.

1: Does EU Disgaea 3 have the trophy patch?

2: Is VP2 good? I've heard good things about VP but not sure if it was 1 or 2 they were on about.

3: VP2 is currently in the ps2 whilst Disgaea 3 updates on the ps3 and I'm watching the opening sequence and I get the feeling I'm missing a shed load of story, is it a continuation of 1 or...?

4: I just found out that my favourite controller ever (my Dualshock 1) that came with my PsOne is dead, it lasted all the way through the life of my psOne and ps2 so I'm a bid sad now :(

So technically, I don't need to know the story of VP1 to play 2?

No...its primarily a Prequel..but its also a sequel...I dont want to spoil it but you'll be fine, but if you get a chance pick VP1 up but you'll be fine with not playing VP1 1st

Valkyrie Profile 2 is an excellent game, i bought it after i bought a PS3 and never touched my PS3 since (i only had GT Prolouge back then )
the battle system is pretty addicting , the town and dungeon gameplay is in 2-D btw. , even though i haven't finished the game yet i still think its awesome.

werd, i mean the games you got are great, but fallout is just my <3

you should get Fallout or Oblivion next , they are great WRPGs
