its creeping down now!
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
It's relying on increased hardware now, I think it would have decreased normally.
Is this out in the UK only? Or the whole of Europe?
Anyways I think it'll reach 2 million LT.
This title will see very steady sales I think. Word of mouth from kid to kid to parents will drive a consistent base.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
updated again for week 6. it's totally creeping up on us. it'll be a sleeper hit all the way into next year when the motion controller arrives.
There was a report on Yahoo that said it was one of the top 5 most over rated Xmas toys.
They recommended getting eye of judgement instead.
I dont think its a flop however. It was never going to be a hit in the first place. Its a niche product that will sell about 0.5 to 1 mil LT.
From memory one of the review comments was "Gets old really fast, maybe eyepets are just for Christmas !"
what the hell are you guys on? lol 30k - 40k a week? wow to make a significant splash in the market look at what the wii has done. Blinded just blinded motion controls do work but only if the controls are made as part of the console from scratch. Both this and Natal will sell ok but nothing mind blowing due to this one fact
"...the best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)
"Hey, Steve, just because you broke into Xerox's house before I did and took the TV doesn't mean I can't go in later and take the stereo." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)
Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.
""Windows [n.] - A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.""
^30-40k a week, consistently, with no signs of slowing down, is a sleeper hit. imagine if it were to do this for a full year, that's 1.5 million in sales. and remember, this is just EUROPEAN sales. there isn't even a NA or JP release date yet.
