that is without other wii games cause they are often bundled and such or are crap and such.
And without HD games cause they suck and whatever other reasons that are too numerous for me to list.
and besides portables cause they don't count.
and PC cause PC gaming is dead.

so yeah it'll be the best selling game this gen, besides those I listed.

I don't think MW2 will come anywhere close to be the best selling game this gen. It's probably not going to have that good legs so I cannot see it selling anywhere near the sales of wii fit of mkwii and I think we'll see another wii game towards the end of the wii's life sell mega numbers.

I doubt GTA V will. Modern Warfare is now the size that GTA was last gen. I don't think that GTA this gen, is the size GTA was last gen.

The actual top you're likely to look at, is

1. Wii Sports (obvious, no number needed)

2. Wii Play (unless it stops being bundled with the Wiimote)

3. Mario Kart Wii (25 million + is dead on certain, it has a good shot at selling over 30 million).

4. Nintendogs (27-30 million seems likely. It may defeat Mario Kart Wii)

5. New Super Mario Bros DS (25 million is nearly certain, this could beat Mario Kart Wii)

6. Wii Fit (looks to die out at 24-25 million)

7. Mario Kart DS (should sell somewhere around Brain Age and Wii Fit, these 3 can all swap places)

8. Brain Age (23-24 million seems likely)

9. Wii Sports Resort (Selling better than Mario Kart Wii, and is a definite 20 million + seller, but it's also the least certain of these. Could beat Mario Kart Wii)

And somewhere around here is where MW2 may come in.

There are a fair bit of competitors here. The below numbers are a fair bit more shady.

Brain Age 2 - looks at 17-20 million

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - looks at 15-20 million

New Super Mario Bros - Looks at 15-30 million

Wii Fit Plus - not off to the greatest start, but it's still the sequel to Wii Fit. 20 million is definitely possible.

well if you say between xbox games and playstation games yes it will be the best selling, but if you put it overall there will be nintendo games that will be in front.

On PS360, yes. GTA5 isn't going to outsell it, and MW3 probably won't either.

I hope that GTA V out sells it, MW2 doesnt deserve those sales.

It's not possible in my opinion. If you mean the fastest selling game this generation, then yes. There's no way MW2 will surpass Wii Sports sales. Wii Sports sold 50 million copies worldwide. It would take two three years for MW2 sales to get to 30 million copies worldwide. When you look at it closely, this generation will probably come to and end in the next two years or so.

30 million for MW2 is definitely not happening. 20 million is probably not gonna happen either. 15 million is likely. In any case, MK2 on PS360 will not outsell MK Wii even if MK Wii never sells one more copy as of now.
