So i went up to my local gamestop. I was talking to my friend, and he said that there doing a midnight launch for L4D2, which is awesome. Anyways we were talking when the manager walked in and i said the following

Garnett "Hey man can i pre order Battle Toads for the Wii"

Manager "Umm yea sure give me a minute"

Manager "Its not in our computer"

Garnett "It should be it comes out in a few weeks"

Manager "Well its not in here"

Friend "Well you probaly mispelled it"

Manager "No i can spell Battle Toads"

Garnett "Look for it again, i need to get the unlockable big foot in level 32"

Friend "Yeah i heard that you have to ride loch ness out of the last level"

Garnett "Awesome!"

Manager "Im sorry its not in here"

Garnett "You sure? Cus i swore i saw it a couple of days ago, on TV."

Manager "Well its not in here "

Garnett "Ill just have to go to the other gamestop"

So i go to the other gamestop which is 5 minutes away, and have my friend print out a fake pre order for Battle Toads:Ultimate Ninja Storm Tenkaichi of War 2.

Then i go back to the gamestop where my friend is working at and i show his manager the receipt

Garnett "They did it at the other gamestop"

Manager "Oh here it is"

Garnett "lawlz"

Manager "What?"

Garnett "I already paid for it full price now"

Then a mom and her 2 kids walk in and they hear me talking about it, and they actually want to pre order it, then i say

"Oh crap, i know why its not in the computers, it got banned for being too violent,despite being an E game"

Lawlz.

I want my 30 seconds back.

Wasn't this some running prank a few years back to go into Gamestops and try to preorder Battletoads?

Wow. Too much time on your hands. You only made yourself look like an ass. This should have been off topic too. I have a gamestop forum in off topic based on my experience yesterday, but it has nothing to do with me trying to confuse people.

lol yeah, they would literally piss of the managers of gamestops ordering a fake game, battle toads!

You should do this with a big group of people.....Like every member of this site goes to his gamestop and ask this.....This will cause an upraor at gamestop HQ....What is that game that everyone wants?

Funny thing is, one guy claims they have the BattleToads mudkips edition 10,000, So its over 9000 LOL!!!!!

When people used to call about this, my manager would turn up the sound on the TV and hold the phone up to it. They never held on for long haha.

Other times they would ask my Senior Game Advisor would say "Yea I got it but do you have it" and continue to antagonize them haha. And one of the other game advisors would keep the phone number and then turn them over to the phone company. Oh pranksters get relatively owned at my store haha.


Considering I'm pretty knowledgeable in games, if they ever tried to do it in person they'd get owned.
