They won't. They will start supporting the PS3 more than any other console. Even ioi has admitted today that 3rd parties are shifting towards the PS3 in Japan. It's no big mistery, sales prove it time and again. Plus, SE dislikes the Wii so I doubt we will see a decent game from them except for DQX.

.Last year Wii was graced its very best(critics wise) RPG by SQ, FF Chocobo Dungeon, a wonderful game.And last time numbers were up, it hit 200k many months ago(300k now maybe?).For a spin off,that went smothly.Sure CC wasnt hot but thats a Ds port.Anyway DQX might be well advanced in wii development, and honestly, CB 1st day was fine.CB is NOT DQ.
so we are talking about ...nothing.
Oh..DQ isnt about graphics(DQVIII ps2 exclusive?),DQIX DS exclusive?DQ is about market.

There is a huge difference between a "main" RPG series game like DQX and a Final fantasy spinoff that isn't even a RPG it's more like a action game wich can be beat in 12-15 according to some responses I have read on this site... wich is really sad.



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

if they do a DQ7 remake on Wii, i think it'll give us an idea. But yeah it doesnt look so well for the wii does it?

FFCC:CB is already out, FMA2 yeah, I should have added it, although the first one barely sold 10k.

DQIX's success on DS is overrated, yes it has shipped 4.2m of copies but (and this is somehow ignored everywhere) the game is priced 30$ lower than previous mainline Dragon Quest game. (60$ vs 90$)

Dragon Quest VIII was more profitable than DQIX is. This is one of the reasons why DQX will stay on the Wii.
