i even was objective with my latest posts about KZ2 graphics VS MW2 graphics and divided it in a technical part and art-direction.

and i didnt tune down KZ2. the OP made a thread to discuss the graphics between KZ and MW2, thats what i am doing.

look i have both killzone 2 and modern warefare 2, although MW2 does indeed look amazing.....wether one prefers one art style over another thats perfectly fine.....but end of day killzone 2 is the technically superior game in pure grafix.

the textures, gun animations, char animations especially lighting and particle effects are all better on killzone 2.

modern warefare 2 sure has more colour but its based on a realistic geo political scene so uses real life locations, whilst on killzone is on a dark wartorn gloomy industrial style planet.

^so im ok if someone prefers art style on modern warfare 2, but pure grafix killzone 2 is better.

so do you conside yourself a sony-fanboy or what?
i got a warning anyway for it so its settled.

anyway, i posted some constructive things too so whats the problem again??

the lighting in killzone isnt better than in MW2. its the dynamic shadows which are so much better.

i pointed it out in a different post, and i wasnt so far off with my post.

there are low-res textures in kz2 too.

the animations in MW2 are awesome and realistic! the only animations which are better in kz2 are the animations when something explodes and you see dead people fly around.

i am sorry Kresh3, English is not my first language, so i don't know what "conside" means, but i am sure it is a word that actually exists in the English language?

anyway, what i do recognize is an insult, and i merely tried to point out, that insulting others, especially in a first post in a discussion, does not make people inclined to listen to your reasoning.

The graphics comparison in the OP clearly shows Killzone 2 has much better graphics than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 when comparing similar screenshots. Screenshots can be doctored. Are the screenshots in the same resolution/settings? Could it be HD Killzone 2 screen shots versus SD Modern Warfare 2 screen shots?

Killzone 2 is a very good game. I was impressed with it: Alt 2 controls FTW. Campaign a bit too short, ended very abruptly. Killzone 2 has better graphics than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 according to widespread opinion on these game forums.
I have not played COD: MW2 yet but it apparently has a very short campaign in it as well.

A PS3 exclusive game is expected to have better graphics than a multi-platform game. 4 years from first announcement to start and finish Killzone 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 start to finish less than 18 months.
