the pics i posted for COD:MW2 are from the 360 version, i took them from IGN.
the pics i took for killzone2 were from IGN too and they were some of the few pics they had, which were actual gameplay were you saw the weapon in first person.
i didnt took "the worst" pics on purpose, i just wanted to take pics with a weapon in first person view (gameplay). IGN hadnt any really better pics and i didnt bother searching the whole internet for "awesome" killzone pics.

the gifts posted from KZ2 are pretty awesome. they are some stupid gifts though. look at actual videos and it will look much worse than those gifts.

if it were for showing only some awesome parts of a game, i would have shown pics like this:

Sorry guys, but Killzone 2 isnt that great.

its gray, its blurry, its 30fps, its nowhere the quality of MW2.

anyway it seems some sony-boys seem to favour a gray "painted on" game more than a dynamic real-time egoshooter with awesome lighting.

That picture is still a bullshot of MW2, there isn't a jaggy in sight, and MW2 uses 2x MSAA I believe. 2x MSAA on a 600p game isn't going to completely remove jaggies.

In comparison, KZ2 uses quincunx AA, which is as good as 4x AA, is just makes things a little more blurry. Even with quincunx you can spot jaggies in KZ2 screenshots, yet no jaggies in MW2 screenshots? Yeah, whatever.


And lmao at saying MW2 has awesome lighting, especially in comparison.

no matter how hard you brainwash your self that MW2 looks better than KZ2, end of day KZ2 looks better. many of us have both games and can make our own judgement. in pure grafix dept KZ2 is the best looking FPS on consoles.

@kresh: If you don't like the art direction, that's YOUR opinion. We're talking from a technical standpoint, and the pictures of the OP are NOT blurry at all. Hell, the video posted says enough that KZ2 is also dynamic.

But here's some Uncharted 2 non-blurry pics since you bashed U2 graphics, which is quite bold:

Oh yeah, and it is generally agreed that KZ2's lighting is better than MW2, so your point is moot.

It's hard to compare a stylized game like killzone with one that's more realistic aimed like CoD.

Technically though KZ2 is obviously better. The animations in CoD are boss though. Check out the 3rd person mode.

I guess if you're in to the artsy fantasy sci-fi style of graphics, KZ2 looks better, but MW2 is much more photorealistic.

If anyone looks at the above gifs and still says MW2 looks better than killzone 2 then they need to take there head out of there arse. Killzone 2 has a lot more things going for it than MW2 has. Clouds moving , dust blowing, blood splatting, hot bullets flying everywhere. MW2 looks good but killzone 2 is a beast and Uncharted 2 is the king of consol graphics. Also wasn't MW2 built on the PS3. Didn't Infinity ward say they were using the PS3 as the lead platform? I'm pretty sure I read that around the time of E3. Xbox owners need something to justify there purchase of the 360 over the PS3 but I'm telling yous now it wont better graphics.
