Couldn't have said it better myself.  I bought U2 for the single player..I haven't nor do I know if/when I'll ever try the multiplayer.  MW2 I bought for the multiplayer..I haven't, and unless I get the urge to play the controversial airport level won't, play the single player.  It wasn't something I had to think about..those were my subconscious reasons for wanting both games.

i beat mw2 in 6 hours, i play a bit slower and really enjoy the games, the special ops campaigh you can play coop or single player adds some time to the game, but uncharted 2 is my favorite game of the year besides kz2, it took me about 12 hrs to beat it, i was treasure hunting, the coop and multiplayer on u2 is great, its a must have, this is my opinion i hade more fun with u2 then gears 2 , all around naughtydog, did the best job with gameplay, graphics, presentation, and polish, i have seen . killzone 2 is very close,

About the topic, wow I asked the question last night and ppl seems to like U2 more than MW2. I might get U2 tomorrow.

Modern Warfare isn't exactly touted for its story, it is for its multiplayer buddy. I've played it and the multiplayer is well worth $60...the short storyline is only a perk to show how great the graphics are. Modern Warfare 2 is the best FPS the PS3's got. Period. Uncharted is just too linear and holds you hand too much to warrant a true purchase for gameplay over MW2. Killzone cannot compare and neither can resistance. It's just a thrill ride to tell you the truth. A great thrill ride, yes, but more of one than a true game really. I wasn't a big fan of MW2 until I actually got it and played it. I mean I have both games...so I am just saying.

Kudos on the purchase of Nathan Drakes next great adventure! If you're a fan of FPS however, you may want to look into MW2 in the future, it is the best FPS package available on PS3 at the moment.

I got Tekken 6 over uncharted... I'll get Uncharted 2 really soon, though. I do partly regret it, because Tekken 6 didn't live up to my expectations, and failed me... But, the day I went to reserve Tekken 6, Uncharted 2 was sold out, so I went for Tekken... Gran Turismo will be the last game I get on release day, for the simple fact of saving 10 bucks.
