Just to give you an idea this is the sales for GTAIV week for the PS3 and X360

Sales a week before was:

PS3: 137,885

X360: 125,320

GTAIV week:

PS3: 242,283

X360: 212:450

So I'd say both the PS3 and X360 should be close to 500K both for the MW2 week, the X360 up so much because of the bundle.

Sorry Gilgamesh, but this is perhaps the only silly thing I've ever heard you say.

GTA4 had the advantage of being the first GTA on the platforms it released on, whereas CoD6 is the 4th for the PS3 and 5th for the 360 (I believe), GTA4 didn't have a simultaneous PC release, and was released much earlier in the generation, when it is easier for games to push hardware.

I reckon the PS3 will be up 10% Week over Week worldwide, the 360 15% becuase of the bundles

I dunno - the Wal-Mart deal could throw some monkeywrenches into the PS3's domination, methinks. Will it be with this week or next weeks sales, the Wal-Mart GC giveaway?

Oh yeah, is the $99 360 deal getting tracked in the same week as the CoD:MW2 launch? because if so I would like to raise my prediction for the 360

7 million sold 1st day will no doubth have an effect on hardware, I think PS3 hw will see a big bump world wide, because the ps3 new price point has made it more affordable and mw2 will make it more attractive to people who want the blurayz and free online, 360 should see a bump also but with this walmart deal it will be hard to tell by how much.

Don't forget were in the holiday season, from now on sales are just going to keep going up, even if MW2 didn't release this week sales would of went up anyway

should give quite a boost, 360's gonna get 2 boosts, 1 this week from the walmart deal and the modern warafre bundle next week. i dont know why but something tell me the ps3 is gonna get a bigger boost. the way its been selling recently and i saw ALOT of people buying the ps3.
