yes i will definitely buy this game for wii

If it's good you mean.

It's been in development for far far too long.  Any excitement I would have had for this title is long since dead.  Its coming to the Wii is nice but I have no high expectations of it.

In a Videogamesblogger.com interview, Wright said that the game will take different forms on the different consoles. As for the Wii, Wright also said that it offers a lot of creative opportunities so the Wii may receive a different game.[32]

Whenever developers talk about a PC game going to console and say that it may receive a different game you can pretty much bet that it will be a dumbed down version.

Hmm good for you people... But I'm boycotting EA. Reason: Sims H&M and Bon Yoyage... And many other EA games. EA decided to put another security system with it called secuROM and it's ruining some people's computers. EA denies it and don't listen to the consumers.

I know it has nothing to do with the Wii version but I assume the PC version will have secuROM on it, if they don't decide to remove it. But anyways, in short words, I don't want filthy money hungry EA to have my money!

how is this gonna work on Wii? I mean I love the Wii as much as the next guy but I don't know how all of that stuff gonna fit on the Wii...

Only PC or even the PS3/xbox360 I think it would be possible. Am I alone on this?

Yeah, I've got that SecuROM crap on my computer too. I bought both of those games as I'm a mindless Sims fanboy

At least they made a board about SecuROM though. (as you can see people are very upset)

Top 3 favorite games: Super Mario Galaxy, The Sims 2 (PC), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't really see anything so terrible about Montana's posts. And I've got a pretty good 'fanboy detector'. Perhaps I'm just tired.

Hmm, I wonder what happened while I was UG.

Gamerankings, my friend.

Sorry if I seem harsh, I need to let out some steam. Someone just said something and it made me want to snap off his neck. It was a collection of things. really.

Perhaps this may have been the offending comment.

I'm guessing that it would have to be toned down for the PS3 and Xbox360 and even more for the Wii. Not only graphics but AI as well. The reason I think that they have only announced a Wii version yet is because the Wii has a pointer. Pointers are pretty much essential for spore-like games. And by the way PCs are normally much more powerful than there contemporary consoles so normally a game coming from PC to consoles have to be made simpler.

On a seperate note, I think that this announcment for the Wii could be because they think they won't be able to do what they had hoped for in the begining for the PC and want to make it up somehow.

The only problem I could see with the Wii version is some of the AI for choosing which characters to pick to fit your evolution and the online stuff... I mean, the whole being able to download monsters that looks like anything seems anti-nintendo, what with all the 12 year olds making penis monsters.

The graphics... might be a problem, but I would doubt it considering how long they've been working on this game, and i don't think the specs have ever been speculated to be to demanding. This is a game that's meant to sell to everyone with a PC, not the graphic whore FPS crowds.

Wright probably made the comments about the 360 and PS3 though because the game is likely going to be a pain in the butt to modify so it's fun for 360 and PS3. Games with a pointer arrow are never any fun on consoles.

I mean, has their ever been a fun RTS game on a console?
