Judging by Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist Robert Bowling and his recent twitter post, the PS3 servers were originally not enough to meet demand. Which leaves me to wonder, was Infinity Ward not expecting the game to be this big on the Playstation 3? I mean they did after all proclaim their title as the potential "highest selling game of all time". Did they expect to achieve such a milestone without selling copies on the Playstation 3? Did they think PS3 owners were just gonna play offline splitscreen matches and LAN games, completely neglecting the main reason everyone is buying this game, the online multiplayer?
Okay, enough with the questions! The situation is a little less emotional for me, as I simply can go play my 360 version of the game as I please. I do, however, feel bad for the PS3 only owners who are currently sitting at the Modern Warfare 2 main menu waiting for servers to be added. I find it ridiculously hilarious when the developers of these Tripe A titles, especially the ones that have an unprecedented amount of hype, become so surprised when a lot of people buy their game. Are they expecting to have shitty sales or just being extremely humble and thinking their sales will be respectable but not through the roof?
Damnit, I did say enough with the questions didn't I? Ah SHIT!
