Wait... it is "clear" that Requiem for a Dream is the better, but only because I agree with you about it, other people who read this agree with you, and generally anyone who would go against this "clear" statement would sound retarded, for disagreeing with common sense. 

See? It is general consensus what makes it "clearly better". Popularity.

It's a solid 9, and what reviewers say, I don't f#*k*n' care... And yeah, lack of online hurts a bit...

All the wii games I own have gotten amazing reviews and NSMBW has gotten lots of 9s and and a 10(it got A+ so it actually shouldn't translate to a perfect score, but that's how metacritic works =/)

So, the review system is fine for given the Wii games you like 9's and 10's , but the review system is also broken for given games on other system which you deemed stellar 9's and 10 as well?

You should stop assuming things, I never said anything about wii games. I said something about big stellar games, the wii has those too you know... God it's like speaking to a rock.

 

I own Okami, Metroid prime 3, mario kart wii, zelda:the twilight princess, super smash bros brawl, super mario galaxy, soon metroid prime trilogy, the conduit(never played it).

87 is a bit low for mario game. SMG, super mario world, super mario 64 all got 90+ on metacritic

I've played both.

 

IMO

I had much more fun with NSMB Wii than I had with MW2. So plz, don't call me a fanboy x]

^^ lol MW2 sucks it doesn't even deserve all the perfect scores and neither does nsmbwii....but in general nsmbwii is a lot better..
