Forums - Microsoft - Natal launch details leak from secret Microsoft tour

I'm sure e3 will be the big launch list for natal, will probably start getting some leaks of the big games in the spring.

Mistershine:

I'd have expected them to have been announced at E3, alongside Milo, or at TGS, or on one of the many TV shows Natal has been showcased on.

Seriously, who announces 12 games in a row that will all release in less than a year's time? The next big game show isn't for another half year or so, that'll leave only 6 months between announcement and release, for 12 (presumably) high profile games. That's just crazy.

14 games at launch? The only game announced for it so far is Milo.

They expect us to believe that in a year's time they'll be releasing 13 games that have yet to be announced?

BS.

What you think something as important to MS as Natal is that they are just going to put out a press release of the games.  MS is waiting to unveil the lineup when they are ready to officiall unveil Natal the product rather than Natal the prototype.  This could happen at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

waron's post makes things sound a bit more reasonable.

Still not convinced by this 'leak', though.

Why announce now and give the hype train time to slow down? I'd wait 'til E3 next year and blitz the media.

I just don't understand why Microsoft wouldn't announce more games at E3, or at TGS. All they showed at E3 was Milo, a mini-game, a pointless 'painting' app, and a CGI concept video. If they had more games ready to release Nov 2010, why not show them?

GDC is coming up(early next year), I expect MS to be courting developers hard for round 2 support of Natal.

Is it a "leak" or is it a Sony type of "leak" wich means it's intentionally(or whatever you spell it )

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

it was to be expected because it is just an ps eye

The only thing that will separate these two is the software on them. Who can out casual the other?

Have u used natal to judge it between the ps eye. If not i suggest u shutup and troll somewhere else.

@Slimebeast: The way i see it, released separately, Natal and 720 would launch too close to each other. I already said last summer, that Natal looks like 32X if they are still going to put it out before 720. The lack of M$ hyping Natal should be indicative. Either it's not coming out or they plan to put it on their next console. Of course, there's a third option of them not knowing what to do with it and that it's not anywhere near ready. I would be very surprised if M$ didn't see the upcoming fail Natal has.
The whole Natal seemed to be just something quickly put together out of the tech the israeli company that developed the whole peripheral for PC, had.

Anyway, announcing a new console at the same time Sony releases its Wand, would be effective to cut out Sonys momentum from the peripheral and being the first one out to a new console race would bring advantage to M$.

@Naum: It's M$ type of leak, ie, intentionally put out.
