This latest promo video from Square-Enix's upcoming Wii epic covers the recording of the game's soundtrack, or rather, one of the pieces from the score.

The full recording for the game, Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers Music Collection, will be released in album stores on December 16, 2009. And it's among the top-ten pre-ordered soundtracks at CDJapan.co.jp--#3 to be exact. Not bad for a title NeoGAF continually predicts will "fail".

I would laugh if the soundtrack ended up selling better than the actual game. :P

Here's another link to the soundtrack album creation. This tune is more "bold" and "epic". I really like that they're using actual musicians to dub over the game's MIDI(?) score on ProTools. Whether the game is a hit or not, it will certainly achieve cult status, and its soundtrack will arguably share a similar reputation.
