double lol at all the haters even though this is at least a somewhat reasonable prediction. apparently everyone agrees that this is going to be the game launch ever but some people think the ps3 wasn't invited to the party.

well, I dont know how this works out BUT, on the leaderboards 24 hours after it launched (in my timezone EST) there were like 1.4 million already on there. Some of those are more than one people on the same PS3 I believe, but some people beat the single player before they jump online. I could EASILY see it doing over 2.5 million for the entire opening week.

It is quite possible the game will do 3 Million in Week 1 on PS3. Yesterday Fry's near us had it on sale for $50 for the launch day stating at 8 AM. They were sold out of both PS3 and XBox360 versions by 5 PM. This is the same store that had a same deal on Uncharted 2 on launch day, and at the end of the day, they had only sold about 1/3 of their initial stock of Uncharted 2. If Uncharted 2 did a Million in the US in Week 1, proportionally MW2 could do 3 Million on PS3 based on what I saw at this one store.

That prediction is wrong as

the 360 version will outsell the ps3 version by more than that
