I look at reviews in this way:
Good review = Good game
Bad review = Bad Game (but still, possibly enjoyable)

If I like the game (like Batman: AA or Smackdown 2010) I'm going to buy it regardless, as long as it's not perfect. One point/ half a point in a sub-category by one reviewer who may or may not share my opinion doesn't effect my purchases too much. In the end, reviews are just tools for consumers.

Personally, I'd still give CoD4 high marks in graphics. I assume MW2 is at least that good?

I dont think you can honestly make the comparison you are making. Also you are forgetting the fact that MW games run 30FPs faster than most others, so its not only gorgeous but smooth like butter.
