To start off post I would first like to say I buy PsP games regularly. I preordered Tekken 6 and Assassins Creed for my PsP today so please don't assume I want to pirate games. I would like to play old classics on my PsP like Zelda and Mario etc. I'm really confused about all the tutorials on Youtube and other sites.

From what I've gathered I need a custom firmware, and then need to download a emulator? (also I would like to mention, I don't have wireless in my house atm, I have my PsP in usb mode.) I don't know what current firmware my PsP has right now as well.

Any info would help a lot.

while I dont think its ALL too bad to run ROM's of licensed games on another system, I don't think you'll find much help here, anti-piracy is big here on the Chartz.

Yes, you will need custom firmware, an emulator built to run on your PSP, and some ROMs. I'd like to help you, but the last time I even posted a link to information (which was just about ps1 compatibility on the PSP) I got a ban.
