IGN final score = 9.2 out of 10.
Every Mario game is guaranteed at least an average review score of a 9 out of 10. This score was kind of expected.

I don't mean this is as a jab at the OP, but copy and pasting an entire review is probably going over the line for reproducing copyrighted material. IGN is producing original content, and if you want to read it in its entirety you should have to visit their page. It would make more sense to post a sample of the review that you feel to be representative of the whole, and then link to the first page so people can read it there.

I agree.  IGN is a business.  They ultimately write reviews for hits.  We're depriving them of that when we post articles in full.

Lot of praise. Can't wait for this! This and Metroid Prime Trilogy will keep me set for the year

some people seem disappointed with a 9.2 but I would only really expect an 8.5 or 9 for a good/excellent 2d platform game (on a console) at best in this day and age...sounds pretty good...comes out here in oz day after tomorrow (though I'll be stalking the shops late tomorrow afternoon just in case!)

Look I thought about this but I don't see how this is worse than posting the highlights and then the score, or embedding gametrailers vids for that matter. What motivation do people have to go to the site and read the article for themselves if they've already been given all the information they need in a little bite sized pieces?

That is the reason i intentionally left out the score and placed the link in the OP but i probably should have more explicity stated that i didn't want people just post the score and breakdown so that anyone actually interested in the score would have been forced to hit the link.

Plus in all seriousness, do people usually see or even bother to read the AU reviews? 

Anyways, objection noted and i shall keep it in mind next time:)
