I don't get why these guys bother when the outcome is almost always "360 by a slight margin." Seems pointless to me.

why is this happening?

this happen last gen with ps2 vs box and the 1st box usually had the better lookin multis

also ps1 vs 64 again any ports from ps1 to 64 not many but the 64 s looked better

then this gen sony releases there ps3 a year later ud think games would run/look better than the box but no thats not the case it really is upsetting me

It's not a very good looking game on either console is what those shots tell me.

Both are great, game looks better, plays smoother, and loads quicker on the 360. That's good for 360 owners, but not bad for PS3 owners. This isn't a contest. The game will be great on both consoles.

Im absolutely sick of people who believe that the PS3 has an absolute advantage in everything rather than a comparative advantage in certain areas. This game was developed seperately for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 so there is no lesser console in this equation. Well guess what? The Xbox 360 also has a comparative advantage in certain areas as well.

That MSAA = Free, the PS3 pays for it in frame time.

The box has massive bandwidth for those heavy alpha scenes.

The box can deliver more consistant framerates because the work flow on it is much simpler. It doesn't matter if the PS3 can render the game in 10ms vs 14ms for the Xbox 360 if the PS3 spikes to 16ms on certain areas like with heavy alpha blend. You're only as good as your weakest frame time.

I don't really care, it is awesome to play, and the graphics are always going to be disappointing having just spent 40 hours on Uncharted 2

Seriously the only difference I can see is the color contrast.
