PS3 should do around 100k at Americas. First of all that's a good sign for Sony, for it means X360 gift card hasn't dented into PS3 sales. X360 sold around 170k so that's a 70k advantage for the X360.

Japan numbers are strongly PS3 favored. Let's assume PS3 did 35k and X360 did 5k, or something like this, so Japan favors PS3 by 30-35k. 35-40k advantage for the X360 remaining.

So it's up for the PS3 to outsell the X360 by 40k at Others to assure victory. It have been outseeling the X360 by more than so in the last past weeks, and with the upcoming holidays, there is no reason to expect sales went down. If both consoles saw a increase and the % difference is somewhat sustained, then PS3 should beat X360 by around 55k there.

The result - PS3 wins this week by 15-20k. Next week should be more intersting, with the MW2 release and the Elite Bundle. Overall things are faring well for the X360 at the USA, and next week we should see Wii being beaten at Americas by the first time since it's pricecut, for the X360's gift card promotion will last until November 15th.

but remember ioi said that in a thread about UK sales & GAf had reported that "Wii saw its BIGGEST WEEK of sales in 2009 this week"

Assuming a 30-35K advantage in Japan I think I think PS3 will edge out 360 by a relatively slim margin. I'd like to see where Wii sales are. Wii gets a lot of it's sales from Walmart and I can see this deal eating into its numbers.

the thing is 360 its selling due 99$ + 100$ gift card deal, modern warfare bundle it's limited edition and it doens't have price cut but more expensive

so i see winning 2 weeks til the deal is over then back to normal numbers.

NA only would be a slim chance of that happening, if you mean worldwide I think your prediction is miles off.
