Ive recently been wondering which version of Final Fantasy will sell more in America's considering the following factors

Install Base: At the time of this post the Xbox 360 stands at 18.91 million in terms of sales far ahead of the PS3's 10.09 million. Leading up to the release of the game the install base difference may shrink but the difference will still be signifigant.

Already bought PS3: Long before FF13 was announced for the 360 the PS3 launched and many Final Fantasy fans have bought the PS3 anticipating that FF13 would remain exclusive to the console. These fans having bought a PS3 will just get the game for that platform

RPG fans: just because the 360 has a bigger install base of gamers that doesn't mean that translates into more Role playing fans. Fans of a genre will go to the console with the best games for that genre. While the PS has historically been the home of the RPG it has seemed to balance out in this generation so it may make no difference.

Final Fantasy 13 Versus: For any Final Fantasy fans who still haven't bought a console if Final Fantasy 13 no longer exist to sway them Final Fantasy 13 Versus might. Final Fantasy 14 is also exclusive for the PS3.

Considering all these facts I think its gonna be close

i think it will do better on the PS3.

Many games associated with the PlayStation brand tend to do better then the 360 counterparts even in America.

i would imagine there would be at least as big of a split as tekken in NA in percentage. Starting to look the like the gap is gonna be big between the 2 WW, but even with a big gap the 360 version should still sell well, well enough that they won't regret it anyway.

If Tekken is anything to go by...

PS3 version will sell more in US and Europe.

right now on the pre-order charts its beating the 360 version
