Forums - Gaming - PS3 vs 360 2010 exclusive games

Thanks Huaxiong90...and yes....I was only including those games I KNOW that are going exclusive to the 360. Sure, Halo Reach is mostly going only on the consoles, and maybe Fable 3, but I've not seen anymore. Not saying there hasn't been announcement, like the Alan Wake's one, I just couldn't remember. Don't get me wrong...M$ is looking for $$$ not peg on the exclusive meter...Crackdown 2...might be a 360 exclusive as well...but I've yet to see anything official.

You just reminded me of Fable III. But yes, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, and Halo: Reach are full exclusives as of the moment. I think the rest are Natal launch games.

Does the 360 have any exclusives?...other than Alan Wake?

Splinter Cell: Conviction, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Mass Effect 2, Halo Reach --- a potantial Lionhead Studios game, potential RARE game, and a Mistwalker Studios game (LO2/BD2)... Those come to mind.

You need to do some research. MGS: Rising is multiplat (PS3, PC), and Splinter Cell: Conviction and Mass Effect 2 are on PC. He meant 360 exclusives, not Microsoft exclusives.

Lest not start this BS again.

PC market doesn't affect or mingle with the console market.

PC market has been there since before the NES. Every new console generation comes along and the same PC gamers keep gaming on the PC. And to prove this the most popular PC game of all time is World of Warcraft. How old is that game now. Oh thats right it cam out during PS2 era. PC gamers are in a different world. an avid PC gamer is not going to care or know if his game is on a console. Walk into any game shop, you will see people around the wii games, PS3 games and 360 games. But every other hour someone might look at the PC games. At least it's that way where I live.

There is a very small minority who will base a choice of a console purchase on whether or not the game is also on PC. I mean very small. Sales of all the 360/PC games or PS3/Pc games tells you this.

A game being exclsuive to 1 console and also on PC is just as effective for the respective hardware company as if it wasn't on PC.

PC's actual competition is Apple Mac. M$ are not only fighting Sony but Apple to. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone ( game ).

^^^ Personally, if M$ can get 4-5 AAA 360 Exclusives a year...that's more than enough, imho. What developer in their right mind would front ALL of the resources to deliver a single platform exclusive, if they have the capcity to work on multiple platforms?

Both consoles have great exclusives so those who own a ps3 and 360 win.

I'm currently putting together a 7 page document to the owners and designers of this site about this very thing. Yes Ive noticed this so called rule by a mod. But from the actual sales figures and background ifo I have been putting together clearly shows that console market exists alongside the PC not with it. Hopefully the sites creators will see this to, when they have my plea to save this site. Afterall my concerns for the action of the thread link you post are completely against trends, factual sales and the crossover gamers.

The definition is arbitrary, simply chosen for ease of remembering and to stop alot of really stupid arguments.  You can make a huge argument if you want, but I doubt it will acheive anything.

It's not arguing, it's dictation. The site has become less of a pleasure to use. And thats alot due to people not giving their honest opinions anymore for fear of bans. It's pretty clear PC and Console don't compete for an array of reasons. So an exclsuive to a console should be viewed as such, if we are talking Hardware sales and software sales. Isn't that what the site is? After all if say FF13 was 360/PC this gen, that would sell a HEAP of 360's and almost certainly give PS3 it's coffin. See my point? PC gamer knows he is a PC gamer. He spends money upgrading and will always do so. He will have on through any console generation. a console owner will likely not be upgrading his PC he uses for Internet Explorer, and Splinter Cell being on PC for example is not gonna make him change his decision about which console to own for what games.
