Forums - Gaming - Rumor: Tales of Vesperia coming to Wii

http://kotaku.com/5399112/tales-of-vesperia-is-wii-bound

Popular Japanese voice actor Rikiya Koyama appears to have leaked the news that Namco Bandai role-playing-game Tales of Vesperia is Wii-bound. Ooops!

On his official blog, the actor writes, "Tales of Vesperia is coming out on one thing after another: Xbox 360, then PS3, and now upcoming, goes on sale even on the Wii. More shortly, the feature film anime version is also opening in theaters (But, I, I'm not in it...), and after that, there's also a CD."

It's possible the voice actor confused Tales of Vesperia with Tales of Graces — there are a lot of Tales to keep straight!

Koyama voices the character of Duke in Tales of Vesperia, which was originally released as a timed Xbox 360 exclusive in 2008. The PS3 version was released in September 2009.

Well, Namco just came out with a loss, so this should be a good solution hopefully.

Looks like soriku isn't getting a ps3, since "rumors" of KH3 coming to wii got him to get a wii over a ps3

A downgraded version of Vesperia. Well, some might be glad.

The difference here is, Vesperia already looks like an uprezzed  PS2 game.  Seriously, outside the cellshading (which doesn't even look that complex) and higher resolution it's not doing anything appreciably more complex than Tales of Graces is already doing on Wii, and Graces is being made by the "2D" Tales team.

A better comparison would be something like PES on 360/PS3 vs Wii.  Same exact game, same exact developer, except one has better IQ/shading, the other has a unique optional control scheme.

As Gnizmo said, repost.
