I don't know if this is the case here, but sometime release dates vary by a few days in Europe, with the UK release on the Friday, and sometimes on the continent on the Wednesday, but I think it is just a mistake here

It's a mistake. The 17th is a Tueday and the 20th is a Friday. New games in Europe/Others are always released on Fridays.
