I've been using Win7 since May, since the Release Candidate came out, and now I have a hard using older versions since the many UI tweaks and additions just make Win7 so much more pleasing to use than others.

So, point being, yes, get it.

Exactly - people post deals at Best Buy or GameStop all the time, and we discuss price cuts for console hardware and deals on it all the time... so how is this any different?

I doubt it, Newegg.com won't ship up here.

Either way though, the exchange rate is so close to parity right now, it'd probably be more expensive to buy from the Canadian site if you're American, anyhow.
