Dang, that looks pretty attractive. What does IW mean when they say Wii can't do their games justice, that looks pretty dang good.

Also should remember this is not the first time an HD game was adjusted for the Wii by this team. So that should be kept in mind when a certain other developer decides to do another HD to Wii conversion (especially since they are also adjusting their own HD engine for the Wii).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

When that can be legitimately answered then we'll all know. The obvious answer would be "graphical power" but IW did a damn good job years ago on CoD 1&2 :P

I will be up for a league, as will a fair few others from the conduit league methinks... hopefully we can find a good time for all... or have seperate Euro and American leagues?

18 kill streak!oh and MW2 is sexy! at the start of the game the soldiers are listening to 50 cent "CRIME WAVE" I was like sweet!
This is AWESOME looking for the Wii!! Great job on the porting Treyarch!
I wonder if Activision expected a positive internet response like this.
Honestly, MWR looks fantastic, identical in every way to the original, with a downgrade in graphics. The fact that it's 30 FPS instead of 60 isn't that big of a deal, so long as it stays at a constant 30 FPS and doesn't dip very often. It's a shame that this type of game is coming 3 years after launch.
I won't go so far as to say it looks better than the Conduit though, the Conduit looks like an early 360 game to me, honestly.

Agreed 100% I couldn't have said it any better. |
Well don't jump the gun there. I'm sure you would have typed "television" and not "televesion". So you probably could have said it 1% better.

Weren't the HD games 30fps?

I'd like to add that IMO, tests like these and Resident Evil 4: Wii are better for the system than tests like Dead Space: Extraction.
And no, the HD games are 60 fps, IW is very particular about having quick response times, and you get the shortest response times in 60 FPS games(it also ran at 600p, or maybe it was 640p, which makes a 480p/30 fps Wii port even more impressive).
edit: COD4 ran in 600p with 2xAA. Also, I suppose I shouldn't assume that they pulled off 480p, it might only run in 480i like some other games.
