Even if we ignore that, Wii Sports Resort did it in like two hours.

Neither of those games are AAA.

I think you'll find they had all the budget and backing that the designation requires in every context except for the oen where people pretend Metacritic determines what is an AAA project (here is a hint: it doesn't)

Budget and Backing are what makes a game AAA?

Too Human, Haze, Lair... Are AAA games?

Too Human not so much and I'm not sure about Haze, but Lair? Yeah. It was Factor 5's ultimate AAA project. It just turned out bad (apparently)

i love rols work

Thanks for confirming that for me.

Why? Do you think that when studios refer to their own AAA projects, they mean that they expect 90+ reviews from Metacritic?

Could this be the first AAA Wii game to sell over a million since Brawl?

No, that was Mario Kart Wii in April 2008.

Here's another hint: that "oen" requirement is the very definition of AAA, not conjecture.

.....You are using neither "AAA" nor "conjecture" correctly here

I think when a company refers to a AAA project they mean it will get outstanding reviews all round and sell well at the same time.

The latter half is true but the former has nothing to do with the development of the game: AAA just means a game htat they put an enormous amount of resources behind and place bets on it making them a lot of money. Wii Music last year was one of Nintendo's AAA games, but it underperformed for sales.

Ok then let's go with "flawed reasoning". I think the whale avatar guy has explained to you that by using your logic that HAze and Too Human are AAA games.

You don't think Haze and Too Human are AAA do you?

Too Human not so much and I don't know about Haze (I wasn't in a position to see its adverts), but in point of fact I said that Lair was, which should say enough on its own.
