I dunno, some cultures like more than one middle name..
plus if you are catholic, you could add a name at Confirmation.

I'm French originally, so my mom probably wanted more names. A lot of Asian cultures don't use any middle name as well.

Nostalgia. Mine comes from a combination of an old me+friend name combo then made a few changes over the last 20 years.

Jade = Jaxxx + Dexxx(me + friend)
Me and my friend used to cooperate on old NES games, so when asked for our name(in Dragon Warrior) we used Jade.

Jayde
I don't see my friend anymore so I just emphasized my portion of the name to what he used to call me.

I was born under the year of the Dragon so I decided to use JadeDragon for awhile, but I was under a Japanese fan phase for awhile. So I ended up using Ryu. Also Ryu of SF is my VG hero :P.

Probably the oddest addition of all is the "." . The use is from a reference use for a class in programming. But it's more in reference of Human.jayderyu as an odd philosophical/programmers sign.

ok i'm done. I think I've bored people enough with my name. Though I tend to use this name just about everywhere.



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

It's an old family last name that died off but we use it for middle names. It's not my middle name but I always liked it, so I use it for everything game and forum related.
