What matters is that people want the game...they'll buy it later if it's not out today I'm sure.

I plan on getting it today...I'll check retails first then Gamestop...I hate going to Gamestop.

@Parokki: I think so too, guys who make preorders have underrestimated the demand or the guys at IGN have preordered them all. Maybe the NA demand will prepare retailers for PAL release.

If i recall it was middle/eastern Finland you live in? And which store were you asking for MP3? I was thinking of late shipments from Amo, since it usually takes (at least) 1 day to get a product to a store shelf outside southern Finland. But in the other hand, Phantom Hourglass was readily available at Joensuu for launch (although i had to ask the clerk at Prisma for it, since the copies at the shelves had been sold).

 Man, the Katamari phenomenon was weird.  I remember playing it at a friends house who wasn't even a gamer who said he found it for like $20-30 and it was some strange game with a *fantastic* opening that I had never heard of.  I went to Gamestop the next day and sure enough I found a used copy for something between $20-30 and I just thought it was some old game that I had never heard of.  A month or two later all I could hear about was Katamari.

 Anyways, I'm tempted to go back into that Gamestop tomorrow and lie and tell the clerk it was the best damn game ever.  The pure awesome from it made me crap my pants and the amazing thing was that the game was nice enough to clean everything up and leave a mint for me later.

Shop there for Zack & Wiki: First store I called = gold. The store is within walking distance of where I live (but I shall drive for speed).

 I want this game to do well too.  I don't know if I've ever wanted to promote a game like I want to with this one.  Only an hour and a half before I can go pick mine up, if they have it!

Edit: BTW - just got back and while I was up at gamestop (i have to force myself or I'll forget again) I was talking to the girl working the register and apparently they had it yesterday but it didn't do very well and all of a sudden today they have sold 4 out of 5 copies.  I explained that most stores weren't carrying it and that a lot of people assumed it wouldn't be out until today.  And I told them to order more in =)  

I live in Jyväskylä. Basically we have all the standard Finnish stores (Sokos, Anttila etc), a rather new Toys 'R Us, a smallish independent gaming store, and a brand spanking new Gamestop. I might be able to get the game elsewhere, but I'm not even trying, because Gamestop still has their insanely awesome "trade in 3 PS2/Xbox/GC games for one free new game" opening deal until November. I want this game pretty bad, but not bad enough to not wait a few days and get it for practically nothing. I'm a penniless student, and my gaming budget is already strained by the stream of great titles coming up this year. =/

They should have gaming charities for folks like Parokki, for when your down on your income and a big stream of titles come along...won't someone think of the gamers?

We have 2 Gamestops and 1 Babbages (same as Gamestop) here in little oh Hickory, NC and all 3 of them got them in today.  I will be picking up my copy after work today.
