as of right now its uncharted:drakes fortune, for 2 reasons.

1. its the reason i bought a ps3 in the 1st place

2. after playing it i thought it was the best game in the genre and how much it felt like a great action movie. was extremely empressed from the overall quality of the product in front of me.

after playing the uncharted 2 beta and soon to be playing the actual game, things could change. but it will be tough simply because uncharted holds a certain bond ( the game that made me buy a ps3 and believe what the system could do ).

what about everyone else ?

Drakes Fortune. I liked the jungle setting and the scary-as-hell ending.

Uncharted 2 was better technically in every aspect, but DF will always hold a special place in my heart.

i also liked the humor alot in drakes fortune

you shouldn't made this thread before you play it.
to me its U2 there are alot of characters , and it felt fresh all the time, not saying the first didn't , but the second hits all the spots.

how are the trophies in uncharted 2, same as the 1st one in terms of getting them or more varied and difficult ?

Anyways, Uncharted 2 improves upon the first in almost every way.  It is no contest.  Well I guess it could use more Sully.

yes i made this thread before playing, dont see the big deal. i made this thread because i loved the 1st game, and have been reading about the 2nd one and how ppl liked it. and after playing the beta for uncharted 2, i could see my opinion changing soon. was just curious, thats all.

Uncharted 2. It's probably the most cinematic game this gen. The pacing is flawless, too. I actually didn't like Drake's Fortune that much. I LOVE Among Thieves.

yeah, but how can it be "Your favourite" if you haven't played the second one? , the beta is just a couple of multiplayer maps, and this game isn't multiplayer based (ALA Battlefield).
