Nintendo also has lots of software planned for the system, and some major titles haven't hit yet (DQX, Zelda).

 

I'd add to that list that Nintendo has a long history of resisting gen changes, and is frequently the last to launch.

Because, on this forum I've noticed, that even though Wii fans can coexist with owners of other consoles without feeling the need to troll, many of the PS3 (and to a MUCH lesser extent, 360 fans) feel that their system is far superior, their gaming preference are far superior, and Sony is the greatest - which is totally fine - but where I think the problem comes in is that it seems to really, really aggravate them to see that people actually love Nintendo and love their Wii...  They seem to HATE that.  Hence the consistent trolling and bashing.

I can count quite a few PS3 fans who linger predominantly in Nintendo and Wii themed forums - with probably the majority of their VGC posts being made in such threads - with the sole purpose of just to trolling, stealth trolling, or bringing negative energy to an otherwise civil discussion amongts Wii owners.  Hanafuda is one of these people.  And I could name about three or four others just like him from the Sony camp.

The only 360 fan I remember being like that was Legend11. 

 

Please, you guys think anyone who doesnt like the Wii or says anything negative about Nintendo or the Wii isa troll. You don't know how many times threads made to bash Sony, the PS3  and PSP  are left open with hundreds of post, but anything close to saying something about Nintendo is closed.

It's crazy that you are naming names, but I can name so many people who troll the PS3, its not even funny. It goes both way.

The difference still stands at 5M units (Wii over PS3).

And Japan has shrunk to less than 15 percent of the console market.

Even if it ends up as a Sony victory, its overall meaning is limited.

(And if Japan foreshadows the market -- better go get handhelds).

Hey if Sony wants to lose money waiting another three years, that's fine with me Also even if it is like GTA, so what, GTA IV didn't even sell 10 million on the PS3, so Agent isn't comparable to something like the potential for the Wii vitality, after all the balance board and Wii motion plus will both get over 20 million sales at least. Actually that's not diversity then, since PS3 doesn't appeal to the expanded audience like Wii does.

Actually Nintendo would lose out on profits with a Wii 2, Sony on the other hand isn't making any profit on the PS3. Wii music wasn't a peripheral, so nice try, lol, San Andreas was on a different console, so again nice try, lol, Buzz and singstar hasn't brought in many gamers to the PS3, if any, which is why PS3 is copying the Wiimote, lol. I'm not trolling the PS3.

How would they? What is in the Wii 2, how much would it retail for and what specs will it have? Please explain. Wii music came in a phat box, that's all that matters, it smells/looks like a peripheral. How do you know Buzz and SIngStar dont bring in new gamers? Do you do studies on these things? You seem to know a lot mr predictor. Maybe one day you could teach me how you know so much about the future! PS3 remote must be good, its gets the RE5 Wii Edition
