Also, why is the Wii always picked on, as if it needs a successor so early? Keep 3 things in mind: it just received its first price cut, weekly sales are near even with last year (everywhere but Japan), it's still capable of outselling the HD consoles, and the PS2 also peaked in its second year.

Nintendo also has lots of software planned for the system, and some major titles haven't hit yet (DQX, Zelda).

Because, on this forum I've noticed, that even though Wii fans can coexist with owners of other consoles without feeling the need to troll, many of the PS3 (and to a MUCH lesser extent, 360 fans) feel that their system is far superior, their gaming preference are far superior, and Sony is the greatest - which is totally fine - but where I think the problem comes in is that it seems to really, really aggravate them to see that people actually love Nintendo and love their Wii...  They seem to HATE that.  Hence the consistent trolling and bashing.

I can count quite a few PS3 fans who linger predominantly in Nintendo and Wii themed forums - with probably the majority of their VGC posts being made in such threads - with the sole purpose of just to trolling, stealth trolling, or bringing negative energy to an otherwise civil discussion amongts Wii owners.  Hanafuda is one of these people.  And I could name about three or four others just like him from the Sony camp.

The only 360 fan I remember being like that was Legend11. 

 

Please, you guys think anyone who doesnt like the Wii or says anything negative about Nintendo or the Wii isa troll. You don't know how many times threads made to bash Sony, the PS3  and PSP  are left open with hundreds of post, but anything close to saying something about Nintendo is closed.

It's crazy that you are naming names, but I can name so many people who troll the PS3, its not even funny. It goes both way.
