PS1 for me. Although SNES had memorable fun games, PS1 just broaden my enjoyment and brought alot of extremely fun games that i still play today...again..it was RPG Heaven, sure SNES had Chrono Trigger, but Square brought that back on PS1 with animation yay. SNES you're a close 2nd to me (of the two) =)

He said he never bought either one, that doesn't matter. However, if he at least experienced them and liked one more than the other, i can count the vote. It's quite simple really.

Again: what I said has nothing to do with owning one, I'm drawing a correlation between ownership and experience.

There's no provision in the rules for throwing out his vote, so that goes agianst the spirit of the rules set forth in the topic.

And there are many people who are voting for one system without ever having playd the other, so you would have to discount many, many, many votes.

i had an awesome time with the SNES, but to me, PS1 has exceeded it, not by much, but it still did. the major draw point for me was the final fantasies 7, 8 and 9. without those, i would vote for the SNES, but since final fantasy 8 is my favorite RPG game of all time, i'll give it to PS1. to each his own. =P
