Forums - PC - I DID IT! I BOUGHT A GAMING PC FROM ALIENWARE!

I know you are excited and i dont want to rain on your parade but you got ripped off kid.

I am sorry but it is true. you could have built that for way way cheaper minus the sexy alienware case of course. and please tell me you at least got the priority water cooler

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I know plenty of people who build PCs without the skill and knowledge required to really pimp it out or even get it running well off the bat. If you have the money, Alienware isnt so bad, you get a tweaked efficient system with good after sales support.

No, its not for everyone but if you have the money you get something pretty good. Remember, expense is relative.

For OP : Grats, and if your looking for a larger monitor I recommend a Sony Bravia XBR model. Dual monitor setups are also the shit, you should defiantly have 2 monitors. If you have that kind of $$ for the PC... def go out and spend another 700$ on a AAA viewing experience.

should have waited a bit and got 5970s for better future proofing or got 5870s because DX11 will be coming on strong in a year or two with crysis 2 etc

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Holy Crap! Congrats on the purchase but damn that's a lot of cash for a PC.

EXPENSIVE!!!

I would've built one if I had that kinda cash. Although I guess it's kinda good if your not confident/knowledgeable about building a gaming rig. I don't buy prebuilt PCs I assemble mine myself so I dunno how much they're priced. :P

Dude, you must be rich to spend $6000 on a pc, anyways Congratz!

Don't let people rain on your parade, if you have the cash you might as well spend it and don't look back. Now you know though when you are looking for your next PC there's a bunch of people on here who will be more than willing to give you advice on how to get the best bang for your buck.

and you spend an extra $2000 for a fancy bunch of lights. I spent $3500 on my last Gaming PC and i have fairly similiar specs. Granted mine is an AMD/ATI rig so its not quite as good.

I hope you enjoy that computer just dont get angry when the next gen nvidia cards come out later this year...

Long Live SHIO!

It's his money, let him spend it whichever way he wants.

Should we encouage people to piss their money away?

6 grand for a gaming PC is ridiculous. In my opinion he got ripped off.

Now if you don't mind I'm gonna try and sell some magic beans.

I'll just leave it a congratulations. I'm a bit anti-pc so I won't say anything bad.

And I mean anti PC as in the gaming platform, I hate macs even more.
