@Kantor, because of the PSP and PS2 decreases, but the PS3 is up about 800k, acording to OT.

oh they will likely break even next year. still, they should recoup losses from software sales, PS2 and PSP

i think it is in the $50s, otherwise they should recoup their losses by software sales... so it is definitely on the high end.. but still a lot less than $200 - $240 when they launched it at $600.. 

i think the real loss for them is the nosedive in PS2 software sales.. as depicted in Nintendo's presentation..



This quarter isnt a very good quarter to judge that on. Transitions are expensive and Sony had one of the biggest so far. Ontop of that they were gearing up for PSP Gos launch.
